Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in New York, NY. As an Editor, you will oversee the review and refinement of written materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with appropriate style guides. Key responsibilities include proofreading and editing content for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors, improving content flow, collaborating with writers and other team members, and meeting project deadlines. The role may also require researching, fact-checking, and developing editorial strategies for various types of content. Qualifications Editing and Proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to ensure consistencyWriting and Content Development abilities, including grammar, syntax, and creative writingProject Management experience, with strengths in time management and meeting deadlinesStrong collaboration and communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team membersProficiency in relevant editing tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or editing platforms)Familiarity with various style guides (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago Manual of Style)Ability to research and verify factual accuracy when necessaryBachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
