Job Description Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHC/LCSW/LMFT) - Residential TreatmentLocation: Lantana, FloridaSchedule: Full-Time | On-Site | Tuesday-SaturdayCompensation: $75,000-$80,000 annuallyBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, PTO, RetirementAvento Health, a recruiting agency, is hiring on behalf of a behavioral health organization in Lantana, Florida for a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist.This is a strong opportunity for a licensed therapist who wants a Monday-Friday schedule, a manageable caseload of approximately 10 to 11 clients, and the chance to do meaningful clinical work with adults in a dual-diagnosis residential treatment setting.The organization provides detox, residential, and limited PHP/IOP services, but this role is focused specifically on residential clients. This position requires strong clinical judgment, timely documentation, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team. This role is ideal for a therapist who is comfortable working with adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, including clients with complex psychosocial and Medicaid-related needs.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individual therapy and group therapy to adult clients in a residential treatment settingManage an individual caseload of approximately 10 to 11 residential clientsFacilitate a caseload group one to two times per weekComplete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other required clinical documentationMaintain timely, accurate, and thorough documentation in SunWaveSupport clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders using evidence-based and trauma-informed approachesWork effectively with adults who may present with high clinical, psychosocial, and case management needsMonitor client progress and update treatment plans as clinically appropriateParticipate in treatment team meetings and contribute to coordinated care planningCollaborate with clinical leadership, medical, nursing, operations, case management, and admissions teamsMaintain ethical, professional, and client-centered standards of careRequired QualificationsActive Florida license as an LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or similar behavioral health licenseExperience providing therapy in a behavioral health, mental health, addiction treatment, or residential treatment settingStrong clinical documentation skillsAbility to work effectively in a structured treatment environmentStrong communication, organization, and clinical judgmentPreferred QualificationsExperience working with substance use disorder populationsExperience treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disordersResidential treatment experienceExperience with dual-diagnosis or addiction treatment programsExperience working with Medicaid populations or clients with complex psychosocial needsHands-on experience with SunWaveFamiliarity with treatment planning, medical necessity, and quality documentation standardsAbout the OpportunityThis position is with an accredited behavioral health program serving adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
