Systems Maintenance Engineer

About the Role As a Systems Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing equipment performance and ensuring operational excellence. You will leverage your technical expertise in electrical systems and root cause analysis to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement initiatives across our production environment. Responsibilities Lead comprehensive root cause analysis (RCFA) investigations to resolve complex equipment failures and implement long-term corrective solutions. Develop and refine predictive and preventive maintenance (PM) strategies to enhance asset longevity and reliability. Provide technical leadership to the maintenance team, fostering a culture of proactive problem-solving and operational efficiency. Analyze equipment downtime trends using data-driven insights to identify and mitigate premature failure risks. Design and execute equipment modifications that boost productivity, improve product quality, and increase overall system yield. Collaborate in daily cross-functional meetings to align maintenance activities with production goals and safety standards. Maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC variable speed drives, high/low voltage circuits, and complex robotic cells. Qualifications Required Skills Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience. 3+ years of experience in an industrial engineering or maintenance environment. Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, schematic reading, and industrial control systems. Strong analytical skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Hands-on experience with HVAC systems and regulatory compliance. Preferred Skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Experience with Fanuc robotics and automated manufacturing cells. Familiarity with lean methodologies such as PFMEA, Pareto analysis, 5Y, and SPC. Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software for equipment design.
