We look forward to your interest!Title: Administrative Technology SpecialistReports To: Coordinator of Administrative TechnologiesTakes Direction From: Coordinator of Administrative Technologies and Director of TechnologySchedule/Calendar: 7.5 hrs./day 37.5 hrs./week 261 days/yearSummary: Assists the Administrative Technology Coordinator in providing information technology solutions and support for all of the administrative systems within the organization.Essential FunctionsAdministers system user accounts and privilegesIdentifies and resolves system problems that occur during daily use of all supported district applicationsLogs and follows-up on all open or pending service requests to ensure resolutionCreates user documentation for system useFacilitates end user technical and data systems trainings as neededUses business intelligence tools to generate reports and extracts as needed for data integration and automationAssists in performing data processing functions such as data import/export, report card generation, and SQL scripting to assist with advanced queries for custom report generation and Tableau dashboard creationAssists district departments with optimization of processes and procedures as administrative systems evolveStays current in new and emerging technologies, especially related to knowledge of database systems, district software applications and instructional technology used to support digital learning in the districtAdditional duties as assigned by supervisorEducation And/or Certification RequiredAssociate's Degree in appropriate field (or comparable required)Bachelor's degree in appropriate field preferredExperience NeededExperience with information system requiredExperience administering information system and district operating systems preferredKnowledgeKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction.Advanced knowledge of Google G Suite or Microsoft Office applications required.Knowledge of data processing functions such as data import/export and SQL scriptingKnowledge of general technology principals, concepts, and methods; systems testing and evaluation principles, methods, and tools; Requisite SkillsExcellent communication, both orally and in writing, and organizational skills.
