Job OverviewWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, home health, or long-term care environments, with a strong focus on patient-centered support. Candidates should be committed to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring assistance due to age, disability, or illness.ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility supportMonitor and observe patient conditions, reporting changes or concerns promptlyAdminister medications and manage medical documentation accurately in EMR/EHR systemsPerform vital signs checks and assist with catheter care, wound care, and other medical tasks as trainedSupport patients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's and dementia careProvide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-beingAssist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary restrictions are followedLight housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environmentUse equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely for patient transfersDocument all care activities in compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standardsSkillsProven experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities in home or community settingsKnowledge of medical terminology and medical documentation proceduresCertification in CPR and first aid required; additional certifications such as hospice or dementia care are a plusFamiliarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate record keepingAbility to work independently while following care plans closelyExcellent communication skills for interacting effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionalsCompassionate caregiving attitude with patience and empathyAbility to handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA regulationsExperience working with assisted living facilities or nursing homes is advantageousPhysical stamina for assisting patients with mobility and performing light housekeeping tasksQualificationsHHA or PCA Certification1 Year experience in caregivingBilingualThis role is vital in supporting the health and independence of clients while fostering a safe and caring environment.
