Production Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations at a production facility and ensuring consistent execution of daily output. The role focuses on developing frontline leadership, driving operational discipline, and strengthening a culture centered on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.Responsibilities Lead and support production leadership throughout the shift, offering guidance, feedback, and problem‑solving assistance to ensure operational goals are achieved.Establish clear performance expectations and reinforce standardized processes to improve consistency and reliability across manufacturing lines.Drive improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and workforce effectiveness while aligning with broader business priorities.Build strong relationships across departments to ensure smooth communication and coordinated execution of site objectives.Coordinate with supply planning and inventory teams to reduce disruptions, improve schedule adherence, and support customer commitments.Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency related to staffing models, yields, and operating practices.Ensure safety expectations are clearly defined, consistently followed, and continuously reinforced.Support food safety programs by escalating risks, following through on corrective actions, and promoting shared ownership.QualificationsBachelor's degreeAt least 5 years of experience in a food or beverage manufacturing industryA minimum of 3 years of experience managing or supervising teamsExperience in a union environment is preferred.Financial aptitude related to budgeting, expense management, and performance tracking.
