You'll partner directly with our leaders, build world-class teams around the models we're training, and play a critical role in scaling our technical organization.What You'll DoOwn end-to-end recruitment for research roles across our technical organizationSource elite talent through professional networks, conferences, sourcing platforms, code repositories, engineering communities, open source contributions, and technical networksPartner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles, and evaluation criteriaBuild and maintain strong candidate pipelines, nurturing long-term relationships with passive technical talentNavigate competitive offer negotiations to close top talent in a highly competitive marketWhat We're Looking For5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience with deep specialization in AI/ML research recruiting; ideally in startup or high-growth environments where you've worn multiple hatsExperience recruiting at, or for frontier AI labs hands-on sourcing expertise - you know where to find top researchers: which papers matter, which conferences to attend, and you're already connected to the research communityProven ability to identify and close research talent before they hit the broader marketDeep understanding of AI research landscape, academic career paths, and what motivates research talentComfortable evaluating research profiles, publications, and academic credentialsExperience engaging with academic institutions, research labs, and scientific communitiesWhat We OfferWe believe that to build superintelligence that is truly open, you need to start at the foundation.
