Senior Master Automotive Technician (including transmission)

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, particularly with Ford vehicles. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are in optimal condition for our customers. Based on training and experienceAutomotive Transmission Technician Responsibilities:Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues.Execute repairs and maintenance tasks on vehicles, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during repairsConduct auto estimating to provide accurate assessments of repair costs.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.Collaborate with service technicians and other team members to enhance workflow efficiency.Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding vehicle status and repairs needed.Automotive Transmission Technician Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Ford Certification preferredTransmission diagnostic skills, repair and overhaul requiredPrevious experience at a Ford dealership preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, with a Master Technician certification preferred.Thorough knowledge of automotive systems, mechanics, and components.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.By working at a Ford dealership, you can be a part of a brand that honors the past, and is invested in the future.
