This role requires a strong leader who can manage staff, maintain high-quality standards, and support enrollment growth in a structured early childhood environment.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily center operations in compliance with Texas Child Care Licensing standardsSupervise, train, and evaluate staff (teachers, assistants, support staff)Maintain compliance with inspections, ratios, and state regulationsManage enrollment, family engagement, and retention strategiesOversee scheduling, staffing, and operational efficiencySupport curriculum implementation and classroom qualityMaintain accurate records and reportingManage children files according to state and accreditation standardsManage employee files according to state and accreditation standardsManage purchase order processesProcess payments and monitor Academy receivablesQualificationsBachelor's degree required (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related field)Meets Texas Director licensing requirementsMinimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in a licensed childcare centerStrong knowledge of Texas Minimum Standards and licensing complianceExperience managing staff and center operationsStrong communication and organizational skillsWork ExperienceMinimum 3 years of Early Childhood Education classroom experience with a licensed childcare providerMinimum 2 years of Early Childhood Education management experience, supervising employees with a licensed childcare providerExperience with enrollment growth and program developmentExperience in multi-classroom or large center environmentsTraining and LicensesChild Development AssociateValid Driver's License and clean driving record (past 2 years); must be able to drive a 15-passenger van or minibusSkills / AbilitiesStrong customer service skillsWork independently without close supervisionHighly organized; ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments/projectsAbility to prioritize, organize and plan work under own initiativeAbility to communicate effectively, orally and in writingAbility to delegate tasks clearly and effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint)Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)Proficient knowledge of Texas Child Care Regulations Minimum StandardsKnowledge of Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) processes and proceduresStrong knowledge of Positive Discipline and GuidancePreferredKnowledge of Minute Menu softwareKnowledge of ProCare SoftwareKnowledge of Texas Rising Star Accreditation standardsKnowledge of NAC or NAEYC Accreditation standardsJ-18808-Ljbffr
