Warehouse Supervisor

Military experience is highly valued, reflecting the structured leadership and mission-first mindset of MLM’s culture.Key Responsibilities • Assign duties, instructions, and supervise personnel in proper procedures and techniques • Establish daily work priorities, workflows, and dock assignments • Oversee cross-dock operations including receiving, staging, consolidation, and shipping • Inspect and evaluate freight loading/unloading activities • Monitor shipment accuracy and documentation for all inbound/outbound freight • Supervise OS&D (Over, Short & Damage) processes and ensure timely reporting and resolution • Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations, and company policies • Coordinate with dispatch, drivers, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time performance • Maintain accurate system data in WMS/TMS and shipping platforms • Analyze operational reports and KPIs to improve efficiency and performance • Analyze traffic management functions, In Transit Visibility Reports, and Defense Transportation System Reports. • Implement and maintain strong customer service standards • Promote a culture of accountability, discipline, and teamworkQualifications Required: • 5–10+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation operations • Proven supervisory experience in cross-dock, shipping, or freight operations • Strong knowledge of freight handling, inventory control, and logistics coordination • Experience with WMS, TMS, and logistics software systems • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred: • Military logistics experience (highly valued) • Experience in asset management, cargo documentation, and movement control • Experience analyzing operational and quality control reports • Associate degree in logistics, supply chain, or management (or equivalent experience) Additional / Desired: • Ability to obtain or hold a CDL license • Experience operating yard spotter/terminal tractor • Forklift certification
