In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and implementation of modern, high-performance web interfaces for our internal applications. Your expertise in Vue.js will be instrumental in establishing it as our standard frontend framework, ensuring consistency and excellence across all projects. You will architect and develop reusable UI components, contribute to the creation of a comprehensive design system, and deliver end-to-end frontend solutions that seamlessly integrate with our internal APIs and services.The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, designers, and partners to deliver secure, accessible, and responsive applications. These applications are vital in empowering our colleagues to work more efficiently and make better decisions. Your leadership will influence frontend engineering standards, mentor junior developers, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Minimum of 6 years of professional frontend development experience, with at least 3 years focused on Vue.js in production environments.Expert-level knowledge of Vue.js, including Composition API and/or Options API, along with proficiency in Vue Router, state management (Vuex/Pinia), and build tools such as Vite or Webpack.Strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript, utilizing modern language features (ES6+), modular architecture, and asynchronous programming.Excellent command of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design techniques like Flexbox and Grid, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first development.Experience with utility-first frameworks such as Tailwind CSS and component libraries like Vuetify or Element Plus.Proven ability to consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs, handle authentication, manage error states, and optimize for offline or slow-network scenarios.Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, Vue Test Utils, and end-to-end testing tools like Cypress or Playwright.Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG), semantic HTML, and inclusive design practices.Understanding of frontend security best practices, including protection against XSS, CSRF, and other vulnerabilities, especially when handling sensitive data.Hands-on experience with Git, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and contributing to frontend tooling improvements.Ability to work effectively in Agile environments, collaborating with multiple teams in Scrum or Kanban frameworks.Proven leadership skills in mentoring junior and mid-level developers, leading technical discussions, and influencing UI/UX decisions.ResponsibilitiesLead the architectural design of frontend applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and adherence to Netcombase’s standards.Develop and maintain reusable Vue.js components, patterns, and a shared design system to promote consistency and accelerate development cycles.Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs, define contracts, and ensure secure, performant, and reliable data exchanges.Enhance frontend quality through rigorous testing, performance profiling, accessibility audits, and continuous improvements to build and deployment pipelines.Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate user requirements into intuitive, responsive interfaces, incorporating feedback and data-driven insights.Mentor and guide other frontend developers, fostering best practices, code standards, and a culture of technical excellence.Implement frontend security measures to safeguard applications against common vulnerabilities, ensuring data privacy and integrity.Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends, advocating for innovative solutions and process enhancements.Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing to elevate the overall frontend engineering practice at Netcombase.BenefitsNetcombase offers competitive compensation packages aligned with industry standards, complemented by comprehensive health and wellness benefits.
