You're past the basics and ready to take on meaningful scope — while still growing into senior-level independence.What You'll DoDesign, build, and maintain both the frontend and backend of a new internal platform, from feature development through productionBuild and maintain integrations between the platform and its underlying cloud and AI infrastructurePartner with business teams to translate day-to-day workflows into working software, with some guidance from senior engineersImplement secure authentication, access control, and data governance appropriate for sensitive business dataContribute to and follow engineering best practices — testing, CI/CD, deployment, and observabilityIterate on features based on real usage and feedback, balancing speed with reliabilityWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)3–5 years of professional software engineering experience, with hands-on exposure to both frontend and backend systemsSolid Python skills; experience with FastAPI or a comparable async Python web frameworkSolid React + TypeScript experience — shipped features in a production environmentFamiliarity with LLM/AI API integrations — agentic or tool-calling patterns are a plusExperience with a major cloud provider (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP considered) — comfortable deploying and managing cloud resourcesWorking knowledge of OAuth 2.0 / OIDC authentication flowsAbility to work with non-technical business stakeholders to clarify and shape requirementsHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deploymentsAbout Maxonic:Since 2002 Maxonic has been at the forefront of connecting candidate strengths to client challenges.
