Our programs introduce students to woodworking, engineering, electricity, agriculture, design thinking, and other career-connected learning experiences that help bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications. *Job Summary: *Packaging Line Operator The Packaging Line Operator is responsible for supporting the consistent, efficient, and high-quality execution of Elemental Hardware’s day-to-day packaging operations. This is a hands-on position working alongside other packaging team members to maintain packaging standards, conduct quality control, coordinate work on the line, and train and support team members in established packaging processes. You will serve as the first point of contact to the Packaging line during daily production and identify and resolve routine issues, reinforce standards, and escalate larger or ambiguous quality or process concerns to your manager. Success in this role means packaging work is completed accurately, efficiently, and consistently across all team members. This role reports to the Packaging Supervisor and works cross-functionally with Quality Control and Production team members. *What you’ll do:* * *Packaging Line Execution* * Help coordinate daily packaging activities based on production priorities and capacity * Set up packaging workstations and ensure operators have the correct materials, components, packaging instructions, and tools needed * Work directly on the packaging line alongside other team members as needed to meet production goals * Conduct regular cycle counts on packaging materials, components, and manufactured parts * Monitor progress throughout daily shifts and communicate any pacing delays, material shortages, or other risks that may impact deadlines * Maintain an organized, clean, and safe packaging work area * *Quality Control & Process Consistency* * Ensure packaged components and finished goods meet quality standards before they move to inventory or fulfillment * Perform in-process and finished-product quality checks and resolve discrepancies * Reinforce adherence to approved packaging processes and work instructions * Identify recurring quality issues or process inconsistencies and surface to your manager with solution ideas * Support with the evolution of our ERP by inputting key component data such as weights, dimensions, and other specifications that enhance packaging and purchasing accuracy * *Training & Operator Support* * Train Packaging team members and support staff on established processes, quality expectations, and safety requirements * Provide hands-on coaching when team members need additional support * Model reliability, efficiency, attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality expectations * Surface recurring training or performance concerns to your manager * *Continuous Improvement* * Identify opportunities to improve packaging quality, efficiency, and consistency * Support packaging testing as new products or components are introduced * Support documentation updates when packaging procedures or quality standards change * Ensure changes to packaging processes are understood and consistently implemented *Benefits:* * *Pay Range:* $23 - $27 / hr (pending experience and level) * *Health Plans:* We offer plans for medical, vision, and dental benefits and partially cover the employee’s plan * *Paid time off* – Earn up to 10 days of paid time off, 5 days of sick paid time off, and enjoy 7 paid company holidays. *Who you are:* * *4+ years of progressive experience* in a manufacturing or production environment * Demonstrated ability to consistently follow detailed processes and quality standards * *Strong attention to detail* and ability to identify discrepancies or defects * Ability to *effectively teach processes clearly* and coach others respectfully * Strong reliability, attendance, organization, and follow-through * Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills * Ability and desire to work in a *fast-paced, hands-on* role * *Good judgment* about when to solve a problem independently and when to escalate * *Team player* — you demonstrate a servant-leader leadership style Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Referral program * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
