Reviews clinical information from hospitals or incoming referrals and assessment for potential admissions. Serves as the primary communication between the hospital and Facility, Facility leadership (Executive Director, Director of Nursing and Marketing/Admissions, and all other senior leadership for high acuity referrals to ensure the needs of the resident can be met.This position will be responsible for:Account assignments include but are not limited to hospitals, physicians, and other market segments of opportunity as determined jointly with RDSM. Meet budget census goals and quality payer mix for facility or facilities assigned. Must have ability to understand and apply principles and procedures of marketing. Ability to grow referring relationships within the acute care settings. Meet quantity and quality goals for marketing appointments as determined by RDSM. Meet or exceed key account management objectives as determined by RDSM. Develop relationships and call on referral sources in person with appropriate knowledge of hospital protocol. Accurately represent facility features and benefits. Generate referrals to accommodate facility census needs from assigned accounts. Convert referrals into admissions timely. Determine appropriateness for admission based on clinical and financial qualifiers as determined by company parameters. Consult with appropriate facility staff for outlier conditions per established protocol. Complete and maintain all required reports. Attend marketing meetings as required. Maintain a personal 90 Day Sales/ Marketing Plan, and “target” customer list. Assist with development of facility 90 Day Sales/ Marketing Plan. Knowledge of state and federal regulations that pertain to admissions and marketing. This position requires for the care team member to be able to read, write, and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents. This position requires for the care team member to be able to reach (overhead), stand, walk, sit, pull, lift, carry, push, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and twist. This position requires for the care team member to possess exceptional computer skills. This position requires for the care team member to be able to work with a culturally diverse resident and care team member population. This position requires for the care team member to be able to travel. The care team member must possess a valid driver’s license. Excellent communication skills are required. Must exercise a high degree of tact and poise, occasionally overcome language barriers, and effectively give and receive (speak / hear) information regarding admitting process. Performs other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice. Required/Desired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience.5+ years of experience serving on a team in long-term care.Proven track record supporting, managing, and executing mergers and acquisitions.Experience developing teams.Proven ability to establish and foster partnerships and networks within the healthcare community.Majestic Care offers a competitive wage, bonus structure and full benefit package.
