Inventory Control Associate

The Role
The Inventory Control Associate plays a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data. Working closely to the Inventory Control Analyst, this position is responsible for item master data, bills of materials, and daily inventory transactions within our ERP system. If you are detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working across both an office and warehouse environment, this role is a great fit.
What You’ll Do
Enter and maintain item cards in the ERP, including vendors, lead times, routes, and units of measure
Build bills of materials for finished goods and kits; flag cost roll-up discrepancies for review
Process and close daily transfer orders of materials between buildings
Review and close daily batch mix, finished good, and kit production reports
Support cycle count execution — pull count sheets, perform counts, enter results, and escalate variances
Assist with physical inventory events, including pre-count preparation, count execution, and reconciliation
Investigate routine inventory posting issues and escalate complex variances to the Analyst
Maintain master data hygiene by auditing item cards, BOMs, and SKU attributes for accuracy
Pull standard inventory and transaction reports to support operations and finance requests
What We’re Looking For
Associate’s degree, or a high school diploma with relevant warehouse, production, or inventory experience
Proficiency in Excel, including filtering, sorting, and basic formulas (SUM, IF, VLOOKUP)
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through on repetitive data work
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments
Bonus If You Have
Prior experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Exposure to an ERP system such as Business Central, NetSuite, or SAP
Spanish language skills
Experience in the hair care or cosmetics industry
Physical Requirements
Frequent computer operation, including sitting, grasping, and keyboarding
Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
Exposure to typical manufacturing environment conditions; PPE may be required
