The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees, benefits administration, and employee support.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage sensitive and time-sensitive responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism. A successful candidate must be a team player, possess strong follow-through skills, and be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.Duties/ResponsibilitiesDeep knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes, including the ability to identify root causes and corrective actions in a timely mannerEnsure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of multistate payroll processing while maintaining operational and compliance standardsMaintain employee records, including processing payroll updates for new hires, terminations, pay changes, and employee status changesEnsure proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits,garnishments, and other deductionsManage leave programs including FMLA, STD, and LTD; ensure all paperwork is completed accurately, timely, and forwarded to the appropriate partiesTrack and document leave hours to ensure employees receive proper leave balances and payoutsVerify compliance with federal and state payroll requirements and remain current with changes in regulations and legislationEnsure accurate and timely completion of quarterly and year-end payroll reportingHandle new state payroll setup as needed.Provide administrative support in the areas of staffing,onboarding, personnel records, andHR correspondenceAdminister benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations, while ensuring accurate recordkeeping and payroll deductionsSupport HR system integrations, process improvements, and technology enhancementsAssist with maintaining organized and audit-ready HR documentation and recordsProvide exceptional customer service to employees, managers and both internal and external business partnersPerform other duties as assignedRequired Skills/AbilitiesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage tasks accurately and consistently follow through to completionAbility to prioritize responsibilities independently and proactively communicate status updates and potential issuesStrong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and customer-service-oriented approachIntermediate Excel skills preferred, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data organizationProficient with payroll softwareMultistate payroll knowledge requiredAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentComfortable learning and utilizing HR technology and systems to improve efficiency and organizationPreferred Skills/AbilitiesExperience using ADP Workforce NowpreferredExperience supporting HR andpayroll system integrations strongly preferredBilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferredEducation And Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required;Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Four years of experience in payroll administration/processing required.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
