Sales Support Associate/Inside Sales Representative Sanico, Inc. Binghamton, NY COMPANY PROFILE Sanico is a leading wholesale distributor of janitorial supplies & professional cleaning equipment servicing Upstate New York and Northeast Pennsylvania. Our mission is to find solutions for our customers through a personal, high-touch approach. We are seeking an experienced Sales Support Associate/Inside Sales Rep to bolster our growing sales team. Upon hire, the focus of the role will be exclusively sales support. The incumbent will work closely with our outside sales reps to help facilitate their sales process and become a trusted go-to resource to our reps in the process. Current sales support staff take 8-10 calls per day from our sales reps. Accurate, effective sales support will enable greater productivity from our reps so that we can go faster and further for our customers. In 2-3 months after hire, as the incumbent achieves competence with sales support and grows product knowledge, they will have inside sales and lead generation responsibilities added, while maintaining existing sales support responsibilities. JOB DESCRIPTION/KEY TASKS A sales rep extender or salesforce multiplier Administrative support of outside reps o Sales order entry o Sales quote entry o Order expediter warehouse liaison, management of open orders and back orders o PROACTIVE customer outreach to weekly, out-of-town customers providing reminders to get orders placed in advance of designated delivery day INSIDE SALES Calls to inactive or dormant customers to revive business o Commission: 10% based on loaded GP$ Learn basic parameters of key national/GPO contracts. Access provided to Network Distributor Hub to look up contract pricing.
