A reputable law firm in Clayton, Missouri is seeking an associate with 3–6 years of relevant legal experience to join its business litigation group. Candidates should have solid research abilities, but the role places greater emphasis on practical litigation experience, including preparing and responding to discovery and motion practice. Deposition experience a plus but not required. Candidates must have the ability to function both independently and within a team environment. The ideal candidates will also demonstrate a desire to grow into and assume greater responsibility, including trials and appeals. Prior business litigation experience in state and/or federal courts is required.The firm's compensation and benefits package for associates includes client origination and discretionary bonuses, life, health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and parking.All candidates must be licensed to practice law in Missouri.
