This is an outside sales role ideal for someone who thrives on connecting with people and making a meaningful impact.Position OverviewWe are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Home Care Sales Representative to grow our client base through community outreach, referral development, and strategic partnerships. This is an outside sales role ideal for someone who thrives on connecting with people and making a meaningful impact.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, physicians, and other healthcare professionalsConduct in-person visits, presentations, and networking activities in the community to generate new client referrals.Educate referral sources and families about our home care servicesGenerate new client leads and convert them into active casesTrack sales activity and maintain accurate records in CRMCollaborate with internal care coordination team to ensure smooth client onboardingMeet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goalsQualifications2+ years of outside sales or business development experience in home care, home health, hospice, or senior careProven track record of generating referrals and converting referral relationships into client placementsExperience calling on hospitals, SNFs, ALFs, rehab facilities, and/or physician officesComfortable and confident asking for business and managing a high-volume field scheduleActive Home Care Aide License.Active CPR/ First-Aid Certification.Current Tuberculosis test (TB/TST/PPD tests, if applicable).Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.Valid state required proof of auto insurance (only required if driving a client).Experience, Skills, KnowledgeMinimum of one year of caregiver documented experience.Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision. Empathy for the needs of the client. Treat clients, families, staff, and the public with courtesy and respect; presents a positive public image. Works as a team member. Ensures confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information. Strong networking and relationship-building skillsSelf-motivated with a results-driven mindsetExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and manage a territoryExisting relationships in the local healthcare communityExperience as a Community Liaison, Account Executive, or Healthcare Sales RepKnowledge of the senior care industryTravelTravel to client homes/sites within local or regional territory, and/or as needed for various staff and client care services. As directed based on the needs of the business and attending job required training and conferences. Must have reliable transportation. Work EnvironmentClient’s Setting: Contact with clients under a wide variety of circumstances. Care provided in client’s living environment with varying situations or in an institution such as a hospital. May be required to respond to emergency situations. Position includes tasks that have the potential for exposure to blood and other potentially infectious material (“OPIM”) such as body fluids/tissues. Office Environment: high-paced office environment; continuous phone use/ringing; talking; various noise levels; interactions with employees and clients; sitting and standing for long periods of time; using a computer for extended periods: typing, staring at a bright monitor or TV screen; using fingers, wrists, and arms; stress on back may occur; possible exposure to prescription drugs, bodily fluids, small appliances for cooking, cooling, and heating foods or securely storing medications.
