Day Program Instructor-DSP
Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Able to drive a 7 passenger van, for community outings, pick ups and take home
Experience with Day Program for adults with developmental disabilities.
Experienced working in a GROUP setting and providing instructional activities while being enthusiastic.
Be creative and enjoy doing arts and crafts. Be energetic!
Enjoy teaching adults with intellectual impairments.
Experience with all types of individuals with a developmental disability, low, high, and behaviors.
Computer illiterate and capable of creating activity calendars.
Able to LEAD in a group setting.
Organizational skills.
Time management skills.
Able to multitask and give instructions at the same time.
Able to provide assistance with grooming and toileting if needed.
Must be able to pass background check.
Must have a GED or high school diploma. Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Current CPR/First Aid, TB test, and Physical
Dependable and Reliable staff ready to work with transportation.
