Immigration Paralegal
```Duties```
- Prepare Business/Employment (EB1 & EB2) and family petitions, asylum, individual hearings, waivers, etc.
- Conduct document review and analysis for immigration cases
- Assist attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents
- Organize and maintain case files, including tracking deadlines and important dates
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documents
- Prepare legal forms, letters, and other correspondence
- Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
- Assist in drafting legal documents, such as affidavits and briefs
- Coordinate with government agencies and courts regarding case status updates
- Attend meetings with clients and assist in client interviews
- Manage processes including but not limited to: drafting legal documents and correspondence; assembling documents, outlines, and exhibits for court and USCIS filings; calendaring and deadline management; research and fact finding; and other tasks as may be assigned
```Requirements```
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or related field
- 1-2 Year(s) experience as an immigration paralegal or similar role- Required.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)- Preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to transcribe legal documents accurately and efficiently
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy and completeness
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
