Role DescriptionThis is a remote, contract role for a DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (W2). The engineer will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting infrastructure and system issues, maintaining efficient system administration practices, and securing network systems. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation and scalability of cloud environments.QualificationsStrong skills in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently.Hands-on experience with cloud-based Infrastructure and system deployment technologies.Proficiency in System Administration including configuring and managing servers and applications.Expertise in Network Security and implementing security protocols to protect sensitive information.Solid understanding of Networking fundamentals such as routing, switching, and related protocols.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools like Docker, and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus.Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate with distributed teams.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.Professional certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) are advantageous.
