AWS Solutions Architect – Kubernetes / EKSStart: ASAPDuration: Multi-Year ContractExperience: 8–10+ YearsIdeally hybrid (4 days onsite) in Houston.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior AWS Solutions Architect with strong hands-on experience designing and supporting Kubernetes environments on AWS, particularly Amazon EKS.The ideal candidate should be strong in AWS cloud architecture as well as the technical implementation and operation of Kubernetes/EKS environments.Required Skills8–10+ years of overall IT / Cloud experienceAWS Certified Solutions Architect certificationStrong hands-on experience with KubernetesStrong hands-on experience with Amazon EKSStrong AWS architecture experience, including services such as:EC2VPC / NetworkingIAMLoad BalancingAuto ScalingS3CloudWatchExperience designing, deploying, scaling, securing, and troubleshooting production Kubernetes/EKS environmentsExperience with Docker / containerized applicationsStrong understanding of cloud security, networking, high availability, and scalabilityExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is preferredStrong Nice-to-HaveExperience deploying or supporting ESRI ArcGIS EnterpriseExperience running ArcGIS Enterprise on AWS and/or Kubernetes/EKSIdeal CandidateA senior, hands-on AWS architect who can both design the AWS/EKS architecture and work technically with engineering teams to implement and troubleshoot it.ArcGIS Enterprise experience is a strong plus, but is not required.
