Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our Street, Road, Highway, and Heavy Civil Construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for earth-moving operations with a variety of heavy equipment. This key role must be pushed to ensure construction projects are completed on time and within budget.ResponsibilitiesOperates construction, excavation, and demolition equipment including excavators, front-end loaders, and skid steers.Ability to load dump trucks with broken concrete utilizing an excavator or front-end loader.The ability to break concrete with an excavator with the hydraulic breaker.Operate machinery used to build and/or demolish bridges, buildings, and highways.Inspects and fuels equipment before beginning shift.Communicate clearly with dispatches and supervisorsPerform routine maintenance checks and report needed repairs.Performs other related duties as assigned.Heavy Equipment required to operate on-site:Motor Graders BulldozersExcavatorsAsphalt PaversRoad RollersSkid SteerFront-end LoaderQualificationsExtensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities.Excellent mechanical skills.Ability to follow instructions.Proficient in EnglishKnowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards.This position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
