Automation Engineer, Mid
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced automation engineer for the management of system infrastructure and applications. As an automation engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change.
You'll work with a cross-functional team to develop and implement automation solutions, maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth deployment and management of our infrastructure and applications. Additionally, you'll continue to strengthen your DevSecOps skills while supporting the sustainment and development of critical naval platforms.

Requirements
Experience with supporting DoD or government agencies
Experience with troubleshooting, triaging, or resolving automation issues using Ansible or PowerShell
Knowledge of automation tools including Ansible, version control systems including Git, operating systems including RHEL and Windows, and virtualization including VMware
Knowledge of Agile development
Ability to develop tools and processes to drive DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have
Experience with designing and implementing robust, scalable, and efficient CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC)
Experience with application containerization
Experience with modeling network configuration in JSON and YAML
Experience with network automation in Python and Ansible
Knowledge of networking principles and concepts
Knowledge of API design and object-oriented principles
Clearance

Compensation
Salary is determined by various factors, including location, experience, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
