MD/DO with unrestricted medical license required
Board Certification or board eligible in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $330,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 7 Nights On and 7 Nights Off from 7pm to 7am
Manage and care for patients during overnight hours.
Evaluate and diagnose patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies as needed.
Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and monitoring of patients.
Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide updates on patient status and coordinate care.
Supervise, oversee, and provide feedback on residents and advance practitioners.
Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, pharmacists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and hospital performance.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain competence and stay current with advances in medical knowledge and technology through continuing education.
Patient Assessment and Care
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Provide compassionate and evidence-based care to patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
Treatment Planning and Implementation
Develop and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, tailoring interventions to meet individual patient needs.
Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and interventions, and monitor their effectiveness.
Patient Education and Advocacy
Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote active participation in their healthcare journey.
Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their voice is heard and their preferences are considered in the care planning process.
Work closely with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge planning.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records, documenting assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and patient outcomes.
Provide timely and clear reports to the healthcare team, facilitating seamless communication and continuity of care.
