Android Architect

Overview As an Android Architect, you will design and build high-quality native Android applications at scale, leveraging Kotlin and modern UI with Jetpack Compose. You’ll work closely with product owners and cross-functional teams to shape features that connect to cloud-based services and APIs. Your focus is on performance, quality, and secure, maintainable architecture across layers. ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement high-quality native Android applicationsEnsure performance, quality, and responsiveness of appsCollaborate with Product Owners and engineering teams to define and deploy featuresConnect applications to back-end tools, cloud services, APIs, and push notificationsMaintain code quality, organization, and automationParticipate in testing and encryption for content protectionEngage in Agile SCRUM ceremonies and contribute to team deliverablesPeer code reviews and resolution of production issuesEnsure adherence to development standards and security policiesOperate and monitor the mobile app, addressing operational issues Key requirements10+ years of software development with focus on Android native mobileStrong proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack ComposeExperience designing and releasing Android apps on Google PlayExperience with Android frameworks; Apollo Kotlin / GraphQL preferredUnderstanding of Android APIs, UI paradigms, and Material DesignAbility to work with cross-functional teams and business partnersBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related disciplineAuthorized to work in the U.S.collaborativecross-functional teamworkcommunicationKotlinJetpack ComposeGradle
