Outside Sales Rep

Clegg's Pest Control is seeking a Outside Sales Inspector to join our sales team in Southport. Experience is preferred but not required. 90 day PAID TRAINING at $3,000 per month! Responsibilities: Sell termite control protection and renewals, and/or monthly pest control protection to residential and prospects Conducts inspections to identify infestations or conditions conducive to infestations of insects or other vertebrate pests, for making proposals and presentations to obtain sales contracts Covers sales leads in assigned branch and develops multiple additional service and/or pest control sales leads creatively for each respective lead furnished Records accurate measurements and writes correct descriptions of property inspected Prepares appropriate specifications and treating instructions in accordance with existing laws, regulations and company policy Computes job-treating cost from company pricing instructions Execute contracts on behalf of the company, observing company policy as to credit terms of sale Deals courteously with customers, leaving customer’s premises and furnishings clean and as found Contacts customers after service is performed to ensure customer satisfaction and to develop additional prospects Maintains appearance of uniform as directed by company policy Maintains equipment, vehicle and personal safety equipment in clean, working order Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Previous outside sales experience required Previous pest control, some familiarity with pest control methods and equipment is preferred but not required Maintains knowledge of pests and chemicals used in treatment Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos Ability to draw and interpret graphs Skill in creating sales leads and cross-selling company products and services Physical ability be on your feet and maneuver in crawl spaces in various weather conditions Maintains relevant licenses as required by federal, state or local regulations for termite/pest control Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) Candidates must have prior sales experience with a history of demonstrated self-initiated sales results Candidates MUST have a clean driving record and be able to pass a criminal background check & drug test Additional Compensation: We offer extensive training, company vehicle and gas card, draw vs. commission on all work sold & collected Benefits Include: Medical, Dental and Vision after 60 days Company paid Life Insurance Short & Long Term Disability 401(k) Retirement Plan with company matching funds Direct Deposit Clegg's Pest Control is a family owned business that has grown from one office located in Durham, NC to 13 branch offices that now service the entire state of NC, SC, and VA.
