Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items swiftly while maintaining quality standards and presentation.
Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and food handling procedures to ensure consistency.
Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and seasonal specials based on customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, including proper sanitation practices and temperature controls.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate orders efficiently during busy service times.
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients with precision using proper knife skills.
Experience
Prior experience working as a Short Order Cook or in a similar fast-paced food service environment is highly preferred.
Demonstrated culinary experience with a strong understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards.
Experience with dietary department protocols and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
Knowledge of menu planning, catering, and fine dining service enhances your suitability for this role.
Skilled in food handling, safety procedures, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen setting.
Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure while delivering high-quality meals consistently.
