As an RN in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical and surgical care to patients while ensuring their safety and comfort.Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional patient care in a medical-surgical telemetry setting, monitoring patient vitals and administering medications as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Perform ECG rhythm recognition and respond appropriately to patient needs based on assessment findings. Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the designated charting system. Participate in orientation and ongoing education modules, with an emphasis on safeMedicate practices.Qualifications Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry as an RN prior to applying. Active and unrestricted Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Must successfully pass both ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests during orientation.
