Reston, VA 20190Security Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI CI polyE-volve Technology Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Appian Developer with experience in Software Design, Development, Maintenance and Deployment in Web-based and Client Server Environments.Position description:The role involves designing, building, and maintaining Appian applications to support complex financial, acquisition and analytic data processes in a fast-paced multi-contractor environment. The ideal candidate will bring innovative solutions to complex problems, expertise in delivering scalable and efficient solutions and hold a valid Appian certification.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement business process management solutions using Appian BPM SuiteCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutionsDevelop Appian objects such as Records, Reports, SAIL interfaces, Process Models, and Web APIsOptimize and troubleshoot existing Appian applications for performance and scalabilityIntegrate Appian applications with external systems and data sourcesParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing and deploymentEnsure adherence to best practices and coding standardsProvide technical documentation and user guides for developed solutionsCreate Tempo reports, Records, and business rules while troubleshooting issuesDevelop reusable toolkits for different BPM process applicationsImplement Timer Events, Message Events, and Tracking EventsDesign and develop SAIL Forms, Dashboards, Reports, Services, and Entity-Backed ReportsCollaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into process modelsImplement In-Bound and Out-Bound Web Service ComponentsCapture proper business workflow requirements and provide solution specifications throughout all SDLC phasesEducation and qualifications:Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar roleBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field5+ years of experience in software design, development, maintenance, and deployment3+ years of strong experience with Appian v24.4.X, Appian v20.X, and Appian v19.XMandatory: Valid Appian certification (e.g., Appian Certified Associate Developer or higher)Proficiency in SAIL, Appian Data Stores, and Process ModelsStrong understanding of Appian plug-ins and integration methods (REST, SOAP, Web Services)Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologiesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Appian RPA and Appian AI capabilitiesKnowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesUnderstanding financial processes is a plusE-volve Technology Systems, Inc. offers fair and competitive compensation and benefits to all eligible employees. Salaries are dependent upon a wide range of factors including position requirements, customer/program needs, individual qualifications, education, experience, certification and/or training, location, and other job-related factors. The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 - $170,000 (annualized USD).
