We are focused on maintaining a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace and are always looking to add passionate personnel to our teams across the US.  Job Summary A Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading a project construction team and the overall management of project direction, planning, completion and financial outcome. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for directing and mentoring on-site staff. The position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as having strong communication and team building skills. ResponsibilitiesImplement and execute the JRM BLDGS Operational play book across assigned projects / staffImplement and execute the JRM Safety Program across assigned projectsAct as the JRM face of the project to clients, design team, etc.Manage and/or coordinate personnel and resources for the projectLead pre-construction efforts including developing project schedules, site logistics plans, pricing studies, design team working sessions, value engineering exercises, early works, etc.Manage all aspects of project from inception through completionPrepare and execute company development and construction planPlan and execute project procurement, including creating bid packages, writing and coordinating scopes of work (and reviewing subordinate work products), managing the bid process, procurement schedule, leading descope meetings, preparing award recommendations, and negotiating subcontract awards with the Project Director and client.Prepare trade contracts and document closing notesOversee and direct the shop drawing, submittal, RFI, MEPS coordination, Document Control and overall construction coordination processPlan and coordinate the project in conjunction with the SuperintendentAccountable for performance of assigned projects including project status, schedule, cost control, change management systems, financial forecasting, monthly reporting, and project close-outMaintain relationships with designers, consultants, vendors and subcontractorsAttend and lead project meetings, including staff/team, OAC, problem solving/working sessions, etc.Impeccable attention to detailed documentation protocolsReview inspection and test data for compliance with specificationsProvide operational planning and support for RFPs and pursuits (content creation, presentations, etc.) Qualifications and SkillsEstablished record of being the Project Lead on projects with a volume of $80M (concurrent aggregate) or $120M (single)Engineering, Construction Management or related bachelor’s degree, or possess equivalent years of related experienceAt least 10 years of experience in Core & Shell construction with completed interiorsWorking knowledge of various construction disciplines, union agreements/jurisdiction, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, engineering drawings and other documents requiredSpecific experience building concrete hi-rise properties with minimum values of $50 - $150 million, as well as renovation experienceThorough understanding of industry and New York Metro marketUnderstanding of construction contracts, retention and releases30-Hour OSHA4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Certificate Computer SystemsMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Microsoft Project / Primavera P6BluebeamProcore (preferred but not required) All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment at JRM without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other characteristics protected by law.  The salary range listed in job postings reflects the Company’s good-faith estimate at the time of posting.
