Job Description - Non-ExemptPosition Title: Security AgentReports To: Security SupervisorFLSA Status: Non-ExemptPurposeThe Security Agent maintains the security and safety of all team members and guests.Principal Duties And ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities listed may not apply to all locations.Maintains security of all areas of the propertyIs familiar with all team members.Is familiar with all alarm systems.Maintains and knows emergency procedures and all responding agencies.Completes and files all necessary reports.Maintains log, keeping it up-to-date and accurate.Responds to all emergencies and reports to the General ManagerReports any maintenance issues to General ManagerMaintains knowledge of check-in/out proceduresMaintains professionalism at all times.Approaches all situations with care and requests backup if the situation is questionable.All other duties as requested.General Statement - Performs the job assigned, complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.Job RequirementsEducation, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:High School diploma/ GEDMust be at least 21 years of age.Have and maintain a good driving record clear of significant violations.Skills, Knowledge, And AbilitiesPresents a calm and professional demeanor at all times.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail.Demonstrates alertness and attentiveness.Strong ethical and moral valuesFlexible schedule: weekends and holidays are required.Shift: Additional hours may be requiredRegular Hours and WeekendTravelNone
