Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work in telemetry unit caring for adults to geriatrics population • Patient ratio of 1:4-5 with 36 rooms and average daily census of 35 • Every other weekend schedule required unless otherwise specified • Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed • No call requirements • Holiday work requirements based on number of holidays in assignment period • Navy blue scrubs required • Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed • Spring Break blackout dates (April 4th-12th) • 2 years minimum experience required, first-time travelers accepted • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (NIH preferred) • Epic charting system experience required • Must be proficient with Pyxis and SBAR • Care for patients with CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues • Must manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration including milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin • Clinical screening required to determine clinical fit • Full compliance required to start on time • Orientation hours determined by contract length Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 36-bed telemetry unit providing specialized cardiac monitoring and care for adult and geriatric patients.
