The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL license and be skilled in operating a forklift. This role involves transporting heavy shipments safely and efficiently, as well as loading, unloading, and securing shipments properly.ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy trucks to transport goods to and from specified locations.Load, unload, and band shipments to ensure secure transport.Operate a forklift to assist with loading and unloading shipments.Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.Follow all state and federal transportation laws and regulations.Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service and repair status.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.QualificationsValid Class A CDL license.Proven experience driving heavy trucks.Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.Strong knowledge of loading, unloading, and banding shipments.Good communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.```
