Job Title: Dishwasher Location: Revolution Roasters Job Type: Part-Time Reports To: Kitchen Manager Austin Estep / Head Pastry Chef Morgan Tennant Job Summary: The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area. This position involves operating dishwashing machines, manually washing dishes, and ensuring that kitchen tools and equipment are properly cleaned and stored. Key Responsibilities: 1. Dishwashing: - Operate dishwashing machines and hand-wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment as needed. - Ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety standards. 2. Kitchen Cleanliness: - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area and kitchen. - Remove and properly dispose of trash and food waste. - Daily sweeping and mopping 3. Equipment Maintenance: - Clean and maintain dishwashing machines and other equipment to ensure proper functioning. - Report any malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor. 4. Inventory Management: - Assist with the inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the kitchen manager. - Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaned items. 5. Compliance: - Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe working environment. - Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Skills: - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Good organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely. Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift heavy items (50 lb minimum) and stand for extended periods. - Manual dexterity and stamina to handle repetitive tasks. Work Environment: - Fast-paced kitchen environment. - Potential exposure to hot surfaces, cleaning chemicals, and noise.
