The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing exceptional accounting services and tax preparation services to clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, providing financial reporting and analysis, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Tax Preparation experience utilizing Lacerte a PLUS.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsPrepare and file various tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returnsConduct tax research and provide advice to clients on tax matters, including tax planning strategies and compliance issuesBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceededAssist with IRS audit Letters and communicationManage client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collectionsKeep up-to-date with changes in accounting and tax laws and regulationsWork with the team to develop and implement accounting and tax policies and proceduresTrain and mentor and manager junior staff members Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeCPA or EA certification preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax preparation and accounting servicesStrong knowledge of tax laws and regulationsProficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooksExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasksAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to directly communicate with customers and teammatesWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package including 401k, Health Reimbursement account, retirement plan, and paid time off.
