Service Technician (Nashville)

Location: Lobelville, TN (Field-Based)Department: Field Service / MaintenanceEmployment Type: Full-TimePosition Overview:We are seeking a skilled Petroleum Service Technician to handle the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of retail and commercial petroleum equipment. In this field-based role, you will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues on fueling systems while ensuring total compliance with safety and environmental standards.Key Responsibilities:Installation & Repair: Install, calibrate, and repair petroleum dispensing systems, fuel management systems, pumps, card readers, and point-of-sale (POS) hardware.Diagnostics & Maintenance: Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues; perform routine compliance checks and preventative maintenance inspections.Documentation & Safety: Maintain accurate digital work orders, parts tracking, and service reports while adhering strictly to EPA, OSHA, and NFPA safety regulations.Field Communication: Coordinate clearly with dispatch and client on-site teams regarding service scopes, and maintain a fully stocked, organized company work vehicle.Rotations: Interpret blueprints and technical manuals, and participate in an on-call rotation for emergency field repairs.What We Are Looking For:Required Qualifications:2+ years of direct experience in petroleum equipment service or a closely related electro-mechanical field.High school diploma or GED equivalent.Solid foundational understanding of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work comfortably in external field conditions.Willingness to travel locally to job sites and work flexible/on-call hours when needed.Preferred Qualifications:Active manufacturer training or certifications with industry brands (e.g., Gilbarco, Veeder-Root, Wayne, Red Jacket).Active PEI, API, or technical school certifications.What We Offer (Benefits):Competitive pay scaled to your technical field experienceComprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision insurance plans401(k) retirement plan with company matchingPaid Time Off (PTO) and paid holiday scheduleDedicated company service vehicle, tools, and uniforms providedOngoing, paid manufacturer training and industry certification opportunitiesHow to Apply:If you are a hands-on problem solver looking to advance your career with an industry leader that values craftsmanship and safety, we want you on our team.Apply directly on LinkedIn or submit your credentials by emailing hr@energypathsolutions.com.
