Our award-winning work-life balance is the result of a strong team commitment and industry leading collaboration.Your role as Maintenance Supervisor is critical to AL's success and may include due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, serving on or participating in company sponsored committees, organizations, functions etc. You are ultimately responsible for insuring the efficient maintenance operation of the property under the direction of the Property and Regional Manager.Maintenance Supervisors are eligible for bonuses of up to $1,000 based on make ready status and work order completion.Your "Day to Day" at American Landmark as a Maintenance Supervisor:Responsible for scheduling work ordersResponding to work orders within 24 hours and ensuring follow-up calls are madePreventative maintenance and direct supervision of all in-house and/or vendor workResponsible for ordering supplies and tracking inventoryCoordination of apartment turn effortsAssist team with renewal and leasing efforts to achieve financial goalsResponsible for the interviewing, screening, and hiring of maintenance staffResponsible for the supervision and training of all maintenance personnelQualifying Accomplishments of a Maintenance Supervisor:3 years+ apartment maintenance experience1-2 years maintenance supervisory experienceEPA Universal certification requiredHVAC certification requiredRefrigeration certification and basic business finance knowledge is preferredIrrigation knowledgeValid driver's license and dependable transportation.Bilingual (Spanish) preferredWhat American Landmark Offers You:Market competitive salaryComprehensive insurance coverage to include medical, life, dental, vision, long and short-term disabilityThree weeks' paid vacation per yearIndustry competitive bonus structure to include move-ins and renewal poolEducation/Tuition Reimbursement401K Retirement Plan w/ 4% match30% rent discounted apartmentCell phone allowanceBackground & drug screening are a requirement.
