Business Development Representative – Key Job Duties
1. Lead Generation
Identify and research potential customers through cold calling, emailing, social media, and inbound lead follow-up.
2. Qualify Leads
Assess prospects' needs, budget, timeline, and decision-making process to determine sales readiness.
3. Initial Outreach & Prospecting
Initiate contact with potential clients via phone, email, or LinkedIn to introduce the company’s products or services.
4. CRM Management
Enter and update customer information, interactions, and sales activities in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
5. Appointment Setting
Schedule meetings or product demos for Account Executives or Sales Managers with qualified leads.
6. Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Teams
Work closely with marketing to align lead generation strategies and provide feedback on campaign effectiveness.
7. Market Research
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and potential new markets to identify business opportunities.
8. Follow-Up Communication
Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects through emails, calls, or messages to nurture interest.
9. Reporting & Performance Tracking
Track and report weekly/monthly KPIs such as number of calls, emails sent, meetings booked, and conversion rates.
10. Represent the Brand Professionally
Act as the first point of contact and represent the company’s values, products, and services in a professional manner.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.72 - $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
