Ref #: C-PTA-Join our team in Vallejo, CA as a Physical Therapy Assistant on a 13-week contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. Schedule is full-time 08:00 AM-04:30 PM, Sunday-Saturday; compensation: Travel rate $1,505/35 hours or Local rate $1,484/35 hours.Requirements:Valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license.Key Responsibilities:Support the Physical Therapist in patient evaluations, history-taking, and goal setting.Implement prescribed interventions and exercise programs to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility.Administer modalities and operate therapeutic equipment safely and effectively.Instruct patients and caregivers on exercise techniques and home programs to promote recovery.Accurately document treatments, patient progress, and communications in medical records.Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and refine treatment plans.Maintain safety and infection-control standards in the therapy environment.Provide encouragement and emotional support to patients during rehabilitation.Perform other duties as assigned by management.
