At Earth, you'll join a professional, passionate team, supporting a truly mission-driven company scaling nationally.About the RoleAs a Care Advisor, you'll play a critical role in helping families choose Earth for their end-of-life arrangements. This is a quota-based sales position, designed for someone motivated to meet and exceed clear sales targets.In this role, you will:Guide families compassionately through their end-of-life decisions, educating them on Earth's unique and sustainable services through online literature, tours, virtual meetings, and personalized phone consultationsBuild expertise in both planning-ahead and immediate-need arrangements, understanding and navigating the emotional sensitivities unique to each scenarioMaintain meticulous records in our CRM (HubSpot), managing 60–100+ daily calls, carefully documenting conversations, updating records accurately, and strategically nurturing relationships through thoughtful follow-up emailsStay current on company policies and applicable regulations across multiple states, proactively ensuring compliance as Earth expands into new marketsWork a consistent schedule (typically Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm) that also includes periodic evening shifts (5pm–8pm), weekend rotations, and holiday coverage to maintain our commitment to exceptional customer support seven days a weekRequirementsLicensed New York Funeral DirectorThis is a remote role, but you must physically reside in New York stateYou are a sales-minded Funeral Director who is excited about building a long-term career at an innovative funeral company focused on helping families make arrangements in family care and sales rather than traditional in-person funeral home operationsOutstanding learning ability and self-motivation to succeed in an independent, self-directed work environmentConfidence and a reassuring demeanor are critical in making families feel at ease and instilling trust in our serviceReading comprehension and clear communication skills are essential for handling written documentation and asynchronous team interactionsPosition requires availability for evening, weekend, and holiday rotational shiftsWhen working remotely, a stable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace are essential. Additionally, proficiency with communication and productivity tools is crucial — you'll regularly use VOIP systems, AI tools for workflow optimization, and Slack for team collaboration.
