The company recently invested in expanding the capacity and capability of their Missouri milling complex. Applying expertise from the origination of the grain to blending and milling, they offer a wide range of products, granulations, packaging formats, and custom blends.They currently have an opportunity for a Lead Mill Operator at their facility located in metro Missouri.ResponsibilitiesMake wheat and product changes as per scheduleWork rotating shift every 4 weeks with at least every other weekend offMaintain purifiers in good working orderDowntime maintenance of air filters, sifters and spout cleaningKeep roll stands clean and feed rates monitoredMonitor finished product moistures and adjust water as neededMake very minor repairs to keep the plant running while reporting all problems major and minor promptly to maintenance personnelOversee all operations of the mill/wheat cleaningSupervision of employees working on their shift and seeing that safety and sanitation requirements are metGood communication to other supervisors in the mill/loadout and assisting when neededQualificationsBS Milling Science and Management or IAOM Correspondence Course completionMinimum 3 years Milling ExperienceSalary/Benefits: This company provides an excellent compensation package consisting of a competitive; flexible benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, paid holidays, and training and career development opportunities.
