Nursing Instructor
Responsibilities Include:Oversight of students enrolled in the practical nursing program.Act as a mentor and a point of reference for the student body.Support the student body and coach them through intensive, skill-enhancing activity.Ensure the student body is engaged with their work, consistently evaluated, and develops at a strong rate.Make sure the student body works in compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.Work with academic leaders within the department to assess the progress of the student body.Hold regular office hours to provide student advisement and actively participate in departmental and institutional academic committees.Qualifications:Must have a master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution. Alternatively, a candidate with a bachelor’s degree seeking a master’s degree in nursing would be acceptable.3+ years of RN experience in numerous clinical areas.An active New York Registered Nurse license.Must have CPR certification.Advanced written and communication skills.Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Advanced mentoring skills.Hours & Benefits:Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PMIn-PersonHealth, Dental, and Vision InsurancePTO
