Operations Supervisor

Work DetailsShift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (2nd Shift)Overtime: Potential overtime, including SaturdaysRole OverviewYou will lead a production workforce to meet distribution and production schedule priorities while ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets are achieved. This role serves as the key link between shop-floor employees and management.Key Responsibilities1. Team Leadership & SupervisionLead and manage a wage workforce to meet operational goalsAct as the primary liaison between production staff and managementDrive employee engagement and maintain a positive work environmentMonitor performance and take corrective/disciplinary actions when required2. Safety & CompliancePromote a strong safety culture through regular communicationDrive participation in safety and ergonomic risk assessmentsEnsure timely reporting and resolution of near-miss incidentsEnforce company safety policies and procedures3. Production & Operations ManagementExecute and monitor production plansTroubleshoot production and workmanship issuesEnsure products meet or exceed quality standardsSupervise daily production, maintenance, and/or warehouse operations4. Continuous Improvement (CI)Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and activitiesApply CI methodologies such as 5SIdentify and resolve process inefficiencies to improve performance and reduce costs5. Training & DevelopmentEnsure employees are properly trained and equippedProvide clear work instructions and guidanceSupport skill development across the team6. Cross-Functional CoordinationCollaborate with supply management, engineering, operations, and HRSupport organizational goals through effective communication across departments7.
