Quality Inspector

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL, for a Quality Inspector. Duties:- Responsible for performing preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process and final inspections on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data- Ensure all inspections are properly performed and recorded, and all records are properly executed before final approval for return to service of articles maintained or altered by this repair station- Responsible for performing external damage visual inspection on received and shipped parts in accordance with the current technical data by the manufacturer's instructions.- Ensure work performed by outside sources and incorporated in articles undergoing maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alteration in this repair station was properly performed and documented.- Utilize approved technical data to determine airworthiness.Qualifications- Maintenance preferred-Read, write, and understand the English language-Powerplant certification required for Final Inspection and Return to Service privileges. Airframe & Powerplant preferred- Experience using precision measuring equipment (Verniers, Micrometers, etc.)License/Certification Requirements for Inspectors:Receiving Inspection = PreferredIn-Process Inspection = PreferredFinal Inspection/Return to Service = RequiredNDT Inspection = Minimum Repairman Certificate
