Experienced Millwork Wood Shop Lead

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced woodworker with strong machine operation skills to lead our mill shop team. the ideal candidate is a self-starter and a team player who can efficiently utilize a variety of woodworking equipment to produce custom millwork. Responsibilities - Manage and lead a team of mill shop workers - Operate and maintain various woodworking machinery and tools - Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings - Oversee daily shop operations and ensure the production of high quality custom millwork - Coordinate with other departments to meet project deadlines - Train new employees on shop procedures and safety protocols Skills - Experience in operating woodworking machinery and radius millwork - Ability to use calipers, hand tools, and power tools effectively - Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management - Finish Carpentry skills to fabricate wood components including table tops and countertops - Forklift operation experience for material handling tasks Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) matching Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Experience: Hand tools: 5 years (Required) Power tools: 5 years (Required) Carpentry: 5 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Watsonville, CA 95076 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
