Design Engineer - Test Equipment Location: Torrance - CA Employment type: Permanent Essential job functions: Contribute to the development of new product requirements through consulting with customers and sales personnel. Operate as a key element in a team of creative, independent individuals. Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical reputation. Create reliable designs through a comprehensive experimental development test program. Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports. Required skills: Alternatively, you would have a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering plus six years minimum of design/development engineering experience. To fulfill the demands of design and development of new products you must have self starting instincts and strong analytical skills. A Mechanical Design Engineer should have a good sense of three dimensional spatial orientation and seasoned knowledge of mechanical hardware design. An Electrical Design Engineer should have solid knowledge of circuit design and a wide range of electrical components. Education: Minimum of an MS Degree, in Mechanical, Engineering plus three years of design/development engineering experience.
