Senior Corporate Accountant

About the Opportunity:Our client, an established technology company is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its corporate accounting team supporting a highly regulated business division. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment during a period of significant organizational growth, systems modernization, and operational transformation.The Senior Corporate Accountant will play a key role in supporting complex accounting analysis, audit activities, and financial reporting processes while partnering cross-functionally to improve efficiency and scalability across the organization. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys analytical work, interpreting technical accounting guidance, and contributing to process improvement initiatives within an evolving environment.The organization offers strong long-term career growth, exposure to complex accounting matters, and the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative and highly respected leadership team focused on innovation and continuous improvement.Salary Range: $85,000 – $115,000 Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.Responsibilities:• Support accounting and reporting activities • Interpret and apply accounting guidance to support audit requests, reporting requirements, and compliance initiatives • Perform detailed financial analysis including flux analysis, variance analysis, reserve calculations, and other analytical reviews • Research technical accounting matters and prepare recommendations and supporting documentation independently • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and other internal stakeholders to improve workflows and operational efficiency • Assist with process improvement and modernization initiatives within a developing accounting infrastructure • Support internal and external audit activities by preparing schedules, analysis, and supporting documentation • Utilize ERP systems and operational tools to support accounting processes and reporting activities • Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on scalability, continuous improvement, and operational excellenceQualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 3–5 years of progressive corporate accounting experience • Strong analytical accounting background with experience performing complex financial analysis beyond standard journal entries and reconciliations • Demonstrated ability to independently research, interpret, and apply accounting guidance • Strong Excel and systems experience within enterprise accounting environments • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment • Strong communication skills and ability to partner effectively across departmentsPreferred Qualifications:• Public accounting experience within a Big 4 or national accounting firm environment • Experience supporting highly regulated industries or complex compliance-focused environments • Exposure to audit support, regulatory reporting, or technical accounting research • Familiarity with ERP systems About Sayva: Sayva Solutions is an accounting, finance, technology, business transformation and human resources professional services firm whose focus is on long term relationships created through teamwork and doing what is in the best interest of others.
