Slap Inspection TechnicianThe Slap Inspection Technician is responsible for inspecting parts or products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role focuses on visual and hands-on inspection, identifying defects, and maintaining accurate inspection records in a fast-paced production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform slap/visual inspections on parts or finished productsIdentify defects such as cracks, dents, scratches, or surface flawsRemove non-conforming parts from production flowDocument inspection results accuratelyFollow work instructions, quality standards, and inspection proceduresMaintain a clean and organized inspection areaCommunicate quality issues to supervisors or team leadsFollow all safety policies and company proceduresPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh attention to detail and qualityAbility to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 3050 lbs (as required by site)Basic reading and writing skillsPrevious quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred, but not requiredReliable attendance and punctualitySurge is an equal opportunity employer.
